I received an interview date for my daughter on March 9, for F2a Visa application, but I do have a situation and I need help, her interview was said March 9. and the passport requirement for the interview was at least 6 months valid and the expiration of her passport was July, I was trying to get her an appointment on DFA manila for passport renewal but, the earliest apt I could get was March 5, and even though I will have it for rush delivery, it's still 7 days that she needs to wait for the new passport, can she still come to the interview? and just bring a confirmation/proof that her passport will come within that week? or I really do need to move her interview date just because of the 6 months validity passport requirement they need? I need some advice please :cry::cry:

You might have to re-schedule the interview on a date when your daughter's passport is ready. The embassy will get the passport to stamp the visa. So I am not sure how will it be if you don't have the passport ready by then.

Just a suggestion, I think its better to have the interview re-scheduled once the valid passport is ready. But it will not hurt asking the embassy directly too.

Thanks.

if you will show your interview letter to passport authority of your country they may give you any early date before march 5. that can be done in my country. Even i was having the same situation.
