Filling out Notification of Readiness before Affidavit of Support has arrived?

Hello all,

I've had my medical and have all my other documents ready and waiting. My fiancee has delayed sending me her Affidavit of Support as she just began her new job this week. She should be able to send the form to me this weekend or the beginning of next week.

I am considering completing the NoA now. Everything suggests that it will be six weeks before I receive my interview at the embassy. I don't want to delay this step when the affidavit could arrive within a very comfortable margin.

The thing that makes me nervous is - what if I get given an appointment in the next two or three weeks? That seems unlikely, but it might happen.

What do you think, VJers?

Any input very gratefully received.
