For those who received the cards, what is your new expiring date? is it 10 years from approval ? I was surprised to see that my new expiring date is the date they requested production of my new card. No big deal, was just wondering

So, USCIS has, once again, proved their incompetence.

I have changed my address on December 16th, and received confirmation in the mail on both addresses, old and new. I received my approval notice at the new address on March 4th, and received a response to a service request I filed in the mail at the new address on March 24th.

I called today and spoke to a Tier-2 officer and first thing she asks for is my address. When I give her my new one, she says "That address isn't the one we have on file for you." I proceeded to telling her I have received multiple notices at the new address, and her response was "Well, it might have been updated at your local office, but it wasn't updated on the system." And guess what! The card was delivered today to the old address. Now, I am going to have to go through hoops to find that damn card.

my thoughts to you is: if you have changed your address, get an InfoPass and make sure it is updated. No matter how many times I have called to confirm the address change, it's obvious that it was not.

Sorry for the rant!

Oh so I wonder if I should call USCIS then because my old 2 year card expiration date was 04/11/2016 and my new 10 year card expiration date is 03/21/2027

Why go through the hassle of dealing with them on that? You applied for naturalization anyways and won't need this card more than a few months. Just don't worry about it and enjoy being done with this process.

Exactly what I'm thinking. I could see if there was years of difference but this isn't something you should be concerned about especially given that you have already filed for citizenship.

Good Luck
