Did they cash your check? and did you make a copy of eveything you sent? That way you can check the address again..In any case it should get to you within the week. positive thinking.

Yeah my check was cashed on 02/09. I did make copies and my address is correct. The only thing I always worry about with my address is that I live in Brooklyn and there is one address in Manhattan with exactly the same address, the only difference is the ZIP Code. I hope it was sent to the right place. Like I said, the only other thing I can think of is I sent a handwritten application. Maybe they have to do something manually and takes longer, since the bar code does not reflect the information. We will see.

I hope the writing is very clear :idea: so it does not take them too much time trying to figure things out. I think sometimes they look over or glance the applications over just to make sure things are in correct before they send the NOA1 and if they are having some challenge reading the writing, they might take their sweet time. In any case lets be positive.

I have a quick question. We just filed the I-751 and waiting for the check to be cashed and then we will receive the NOA1. After that we will receive the biometrics letter. When does the one year extension letter come?

That's correct!! The NOA1 is the stamp for the 1 year extension.

hello all, quick question. we're ready to file and mail my wife's i-751 and we're filing joint filing. i am the us citizen. based on the fee, the application is 505 and biometrics is 85. so for my wife it will be $590. do i also need to pay for the biometric fee? thanks.

Thats all you need...The biometric is the $85 Application processing fee is the $505 good luck.

No, the biometrics appointment, and subsequent $85 fee is just for the petitioner/intended immigrant.
