Do you know someone who had a positive response applying for naturalization with a ROC pending? I've seen some people applying lately, but no updates.

I'm curious because I'm a June filer and planning to do the same. Have you checked other forums?

If I am correct, sorry Im a Feb 2017 filer a year behind you, but I think when you apply for the N400 it actually forces their hand to make a decision.  Please feel free anyone to correct me if I am wrong.

Wow. Did they say why it's gonna take that long? I've never heard of them telling anyone that the ROC would take 2 years!

No, he said "ROC is a very long (if not the longest) process, you are looking at 1 to 2-year process". I asked if my case was assigned to an officer, he said "no, your case is not in final process".

I just love those guys:) Somebody posted that they said delays were because of presidential election, for some they are very busy and they are working on it, for me they said it takes 6-12months, no it changed to 1-2 years? They'll say anything they want to get you off the line?

My RFE package was delivered today to VSC. Does anyone know if they send you a letter to ackowledge that they received the RFE response?

I know! I felt the same way, it's just exhausting to wait and being told I might just be only half way through the wait....
