you should have made an appointment to get your passport stamped because this is your only proof after noa expires to show your legal status or be employed or travel outside of the US. If you haven't done it yet, call them asap. Be awared of that they don't like last minute things because it is your responsibility to take care of it and not theirs. 

Thank you, IV&A. My understanding is that the NOA extends my status for one year (I.e., from my GC expiration date, which is in May). Fortunately, my drivers license is valid through October of this year, so I believe I'm ok.

Thank you. So... chances are, their website won't show that they are processing February dates until April - may 2017. Can't believe I have to wait this long!

seems that the stamp is not even mandatory, unless needed for travel or proof of employment... or I may wrong?

hey, I think that it is not even required unless you need to prove something (coming back to the US after traveling overseas for example) or get something (Driver's License for example), etc. 

Plus, I heard a lot of people are denied their stamps in local offices because they go by the green card date and not Noa. The NOA notice states that "your resident status has been extended for one year" which means starting from the day your green card expires.... Just a thought. My Noa expires on February 26, and my green card on May 2, when I went to get my drivers license renewed after I got my Noa, they put as expiration date May 2 and not February 26, so.....

I just checked online and they update it. Same message as Kalusha that my new card were going to be produced.

After a year and 2 days, I received a letter from USCIS saying that I'll be expecting my new card. 

 

But, when I checked my case status online, it's still the same (not updated).

I called USCIS and they said I needed the extension before filling N-400.
