I called USCIS today to file a service request. The tier1 agent told me that she is not able to file a service request due to technical difficulties and that I should call again later. Has anybody else experienced this?

I had the same experience and was told exactly the same thing two days ago. i am confused- should i keep calling them? i am unable to do the request in online....feeling very helpless....not a big fan of WAITING......

I just called them again. Now I was able to schedule a call back from a tier2. I guess you just have to call more often and ask to file a service request with a tier2 agent.

I called 5 times till I was able to get the request filled out... 1 tier 2 agent was super mean and he hang up on me... The second tier 2 agent was okey but I already got the seevice request filled out after calling 5-6 times... So I got RFE in the mail 5 days later instead of approval letter...

just an update- i just called them again and was able to place a call back request from Tier 2 agent. i really wish tier 2 agent makes a service request, not saying wait and call back later.

Somewhere along the line the tracker got severely messed up. I went back to the last version that I could confirm was accurate and made it current with all the updates from that point to now.

so i managed to place the service request, they said i should be hearing something in 10 days or so and gave me a reference number. any of you guys please share your experience after placing the service request. just wondering to thank you all in this forum- I would not have been even aware of the service request process without following this forum. so thank you and God Bless all!!!!!

I just had a call back from uscis tier 2 agent and he said he cannot do a service request for me because it is still processing and it is only considered outside processing time after 11 months!!! I dont think that is right at all, I insisted but didnt work. I think i am either receiving a RFE soon or my case will be approved next week. Frustrating! I filed on Feb 29, NOA march, 2nd and biometrics march 30th. Can someone add me? Thanks
