Ok... So how do you apply for that service request?! I called them like 5 times already... Tier 1 agents can't file the service request for some reason... And tier 2 agent said the same and that i got one year extension and the process takes 6 to 12 months and I was meanly hang up on... Called second time willing to reach a second tier 2 agent, left a call back nobody even called me back... What a hell?!?!?! I'm having the worst experience ever with those representatives......?

i called yestreday around 1pm and the agent is really nice. She gave her code right away and ask me how she can help me. I said, i just want to know the status of my case. She ask if im the applicant or third party... i told her im the applicant. She also ask if done with my biometrics and when did i file the case so on and so on... She said, I'll pull out your case and i will do the service request for you because it is more than 6 months. Just stay on the line coz i have to give the reference after i'm done with the request. Here's the reference number and if you don't hear in 30 days..call us again and give the reference number that i gave to you.

Can these service requests be made online also?

Yes. Some people seem to have trouble with filing one even though their cases have ben beyond 6 months. Get the feeling that they allow cases whose processing time is 7 months and above instead of 6 months.

First 30 days from filing I751 isn't counted as part of 6 months in processing time.

Hi Everyone,

i need assistance about placing a service request please. so i called USCIS today and the representative was unable to create a service request. can anyone please advise me what can i do/try to create a service request. thank you !

Google service request uscis. Choose the option for service request and file it on your own. If it says you are unable to create service request because your case is within processing times call them again. It took me 5 times to call till they finally did it. Anyway... I did it on friday 9-2-16 and I still haven't gotten any updates or any action taken... I'll be honest, I just gave up on'em. We all have time to wait and if they milk it for so long, just go for citizenship on december and they will have to make a move so whatever :)
