I also received the approval notice a couple of days after I made that request on August 22, which also failed because it was within the timeframe according to the system. However, since I got the approval on August 24 it has already passed two days and the status hasn't changed to mailing. I know you are normally supposed to receive the card after about one week that you have been approved... I doubt I will receive it on Wednesday if they mail it this Monday. Or maybe I'm wrong.

My status changed to mailing yesterday morning and I got the card today.

8/24 - Approval

8/29 - Status change to mailing

8/30 - Card received

12-12-2012 - Graduated from university!!!! Master of Science in Taxation

12-12-2012 - Optional Practical Training (OPT) begins

06-26-2013 - The Defence of Marriage Act of 1996 (DOMA) was declared unconstitutional!!!!!

07-01-2013 - We finally got married!!!!!

10-28-2013 - Mailed forms I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765 (lawyer-prepared)

11-01-2013 - (DAY 0) USCIS received forms I-130, I-131. I-485, I-765

12-04-2013 - (DAY 33) Biometrics taken for purpose of both forms I-485 and I-765

i finally got a chance to call the USCIS. I filed mine on February 18 but i just did my biometrics on march 29.

I did not wait that long. The agent helped me right away and ask question that she need for service request. After she got all the information she needed, she gave me the reference number and she said call them again after 30 days and give the reference number, if i did not hear anything about my case.

Has anyone received an RFE/Interview letter so far?

I am pretty sure I will get one since mycase is a bit complicated (husband is in Med School in the Caribbean until next year and I couldn't move with him because it would have threatened my permanent residency)

I wonder if RFE/Interview letters are sent around the same time people start getting approved or if they are sent a bit beforehand.

I filed in Vermont, so I am sure I still have a long wait ahead.

I dont know how do the texting you want on here, im trying to find out where the February Filers are sitting as far as status. I see many California approved I-751s. My paperwork went to the Vermont Service Center...here is my timeline:

If you check USCIS website you'll see that:

Vermont Service Center (Field Office Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of June 30, 2016): Processing Cases as of date: August 31, 2015

California Service Center (Field Office Processing Dates for California Service Center as of June 30, 2016): Processing Cases as of date: 6 months

Since you're Vermont filer, it takes a little while, but California filers got approved a lot this month, because the waiting time for them around 6-7 months

Ok... So how do you apply for that service request?! I called them like 5 times already... Tier 1 agents can't file the service request for some reason... And tier 2 agent said the same and that i got one year extension and the process takes 6 to 12 months and I was meanly hang up on... Called second time willing to reach a second tier 2 agent, left a call back nobody even called me back... What a hell?!?!?! I'm having the worst experience ever with those representatives......?

Ok... So how do you apply for that service request?! I called them like 5 times already... Tier 1 agents can't file the service request for some reason... And tier 2 agent said the same and that i got one year extension and the process takes 6 to 12 months and I was meanly hang up on... Called second time willing to reach a second tier 2 agent, left a call back nobody even called me back... What a hell?!?!?! I'm having the worst experience ever with those representatives......?
