Varies, but from most of the apps we have seen it is within a week.

Yes, call them and request a service request.

:-( I called and they say it's still normal processing time and I can't request anything. It's so frustrating... I got NOA Feb. 10th and got nothing since then. But the 800 line agent says there's nothing I can ask during the "normal processing time", which is 5 months. Does anyone know who was in the same situation to me...?

02/07/17: Fingerprints (Biometrics) appointment letter was sent to me by USCIS via regular mail(USPS)

02/09/17: Fingerprints (Biometrics) appointment letter was delivered to me.

:-( I called and they say it's still normal processing time and I can't request anything. It's so frustrating... I got NOA Feb. 10th and got nothing since then. But the 800 line agent says there's nothing I can ask during the "normal processing time", which is 5 months. Does anyone know who was in the same situation to me...?

30 days after you receive your NOA1, you can request a service request. The rep you talked to was giving you false information. Call again and once you get someone on, immediately ask to speak to a tier two representative. They will put you on hold for a long time. Then once a tier two representative gets on, demand a service request for both the status of your application AND the updated case number (which you don't have). Edited by Leon & Mylen
