Guys, I have a question. When I check my case status on the uscis website, only one of my receipts numbers works - when I enter the other one, it gives me an error. Is that normal, or should I be worried? Also my status still hasn't changed from "case received" to "biometrics", even though I had my biometrics a week ago. How soon do they update the status usually?

I suspect that they only update when they moved on to the next stage of your application. If your Biometrics were done last week then the results of the background check/records check probably haven't been added to your file yet. It can take some time for those to be returned by the agency providing it.

For AOS, my status didn't change until around the time that I got the letter that informed me of my interview which arrived about 3-4 weeks after I supplied my biometrics.

Personally I think that the old case status checking system was more informative where you can see what the expected next steps would be and how long each should take. And then that magical day when you logged in and saw that your card went out for processing - but I digress lol

Do people usually have to have an interview for ROC? I mean in the majority of cases?

Check this article out. The data is a year old but has some interesting stats around the percentage of ROC applicants that are called to an interview and the correlation to what risk category they fall under.

It appears that if your marriage is legit and your paperwork supports that, there is a less than 10% chance that you will get called up for an interview.

It's been 27 days since i filed my I-751 and still no Bio-metrics appointment from California Service Center. I'm waiting for 30 days to inquire online.

Did you check with USCIS yet as to why they haven't sent out the Biometrics letters?

Hi, if someone can updat my information, I received today the letter with my biomes so appoiment, I received the first NOA on the 03/05/16 so it's been 12 days from that and the appoiment is on 03/31/16, hope everything goes well! Thank you!

I got my biometrics notice, too: 03/31/16.

They spelled my name wrong in the address field. That's weird because the other letter was proper. Should I be concerned?
