Thank you for your very thoughtful comment, CanAm68! Yeah the pro and cons that you mention are all super valid.

I'm a bit worried about my financial comingling evidence - we have a bank account together, but it doesn't go back all the way to when we were married, and we don't use it as much as we use our business bank account. We own a company together. I sent all the bank statements in, together with copies of our debit cards, and also our company documents. But not sure if they will consider this sufficient... So I was thinking that the wills and POAs would be a good addition. But you are right, if they do find my evidence insufficient, and send me RFE, then I will have some additional evidence to send in. Thank you for your help

Honestly, I wouldn't.

Acting on the assumption that you felt confident with the info that you provided at the time you filed, then these docs are just a bonus, or top-up to your evidence.

The Pros to sending them now:

- If your original evidence wasn't strong enough, this could avoid having an RFE issued and the subsequent delay that comes with responding.

The Cons to sending them now:

- Potential for the loss of your docs in their system as they try to marry your evidence to your original application

- If there has been any preliminary evaluating done up to this point, it will likely have to be re-reviewed thus making any early progress nullified

- It might trigger a more thorough (read: longer) review - why are they sending more info to us, is there an issue we didn't notice?

To me the cons do not outweigh the very remote pro. If your original evidence wasn't sufficient and you get an RFE you have these docs handy and can turn that response around very quickly from your end AND you'll have the expidited tracking notice from USCIS to do so in an organized (less chance that they will mis-place it) type of way.

These are just my initial thoughts of course... maybe someone else has another perspective...?

Filed our ROC for CSC on 2/20 and received NOA1 2/22. Thanks for including me in the list

May 15, 2013 - Sent I-129F packet

May 17, 2013 - Recieved Date

May 21, 2013 - NOA1

August 9, 2013 - Petition Approved; NOA2

September 12, 2013 - Got our Manila Case Number

September 13, 2013 - Paid VISA fee through BPI ; scheduled appointment and medicals

September 17, 2013 - Medical at SLEC; passed in one day

September 20, 2013 - done with CFO seminar pre departure orientation seminar

October 7, 2013 - Interview at USEM (Visa Approved)

October 16, 2013 - Visa on hand

October 17, 2013 - went back to CFO for the sticker

November 9, 2013 - Flight to LAX, got to LAX safely

NOvember 11, 2013 - Printed out I-94 online

Well here's a cautionary tale: we were waiting and waiting for our Biometrics appointment; found out a neighbor had gotten the mail for us (she's elderly) and the envelope had slipped between the console and her car seat. Thankfully, we won't miss the appointment...but good grief....thank goodness it was found!

Well here's a cautionary tale: we were waiting and waiting for our Biometrics appointment; found out a neighbor had gotten the mail for us (she's elderly) and the envelope had slipped between the console and her car seat. Thankfully, we won't miss the appointment...but good grief....thank goodness it was found!

That is CRAZY! WOW! Glad you got that figured out!

Okay, now I'm starting to get a slight worry. It's been 10 days since those who have received their NO1 on 2/16 received their biometrics, some of which were scheduled for today (3/7), and we have still yet to receive ours, even though it was dated a mere three days later (2/19). So I called the number, and they said they have no record of our receipt number (listed on the NOA1). Should they? Anybody else with experience calling USCIS with the NOA1 receipt number?

You might be able to do a walk in info pass myvhsband and i went yesterday to biometrics and there was this ladywho had no appointment the security guard suggested shebcome atv6:45am and they would let her in without and appoibtment

Can we get dates from a few of you (3-4) who have received their biometrics letters, as to when the biometrics letter is sent out relative to NOA1 date? The table has the appointment date but not the date of the letter.

I see people with a 2/02 NOA1 date with 3/11 biometrics, and others with 2/17 NOA1 date with 3/07 biometrics (earlier than the guys who filed more than 2 weeks prior!), so the actual appointment date has no correlation to the NOA1 date. Likely because it depends on the workload of the field office that will do your biometrics.

So, instead, what I want to be able to know is that the biometrics letters are sent out approx. X number of days after the NOA1 date, looking for that X.

My NOA1 date is 2/22 so I guess there's still time for me to get my biometrics letter.

Probably can't do a walk-in in this member's case though as they don't have the biometrics letter. Without the receipt number they have no way of connecting them to the specific application that requires the data.

@Leon & Mylen - I think you have to wait 30 days from NOA1 date before calling in to request an update (at least that was the situation for another user in your situation here). I know waiting is unbearable especially since each timeline is so different right now but have faith it will come soon. If not, call in right on that 30 day mark and request a review.
