Feb. 13, 2007 NOA1 Sent advising check was rec'd.

Mar. 1, 2007 Email stating NOA2 was hard copy sent to me.

Mar. 7, 2007 Hard Copy NOA2 arrived safely to me!

Mar. 8, 2007 *Touched* by London Consulate

Mar. 19, 2007 Craig Rec'd Packet 3

April 13 - April 22nd joining my guy in the UK for a much needed week of R&R!

April 27, 2007 Medical was successful.

May 16, 2007 Police Certificates finally arrive safely.

May 17, 2007 Checklist mailed to Consolute in London!!

May 30, 2007 Packet 4 Rec'd.

June 21, 2007 INTERVIEW DATE

June 23, 2007 VISA IN HAND!

July 21, 2007 Arrived in USA! Together at last.

Aug. 7, 2007 MARRIED!!

Aug. 21, 2007 Mailed off AOS & EAD Application (along with a whopping 1010.00!!)

Aug. 22, 2007 Application is signed for at the Chicago Lockbox.

03/13/07: NVC sent packet to La Habana

03/27/07: Telegram "sent" to fiance to pick up packet 3... never received

04/02/07: I contacted the "embassy" to find out status of case and set up pick up date

04/04/07: Fiance picked up packet 3

04/05/07: I called toll-free # here to set up appointment for my fiancé

05/10/07: Interview scheduled for 7:30AM... Visa Approved!!!!!!!!

05/14/07: Picks up passport/visa and brown sealed envelope

05/15/07: Paperwork for the carta blanca turned in

05/24/07: Carta Blanca received and bought plane ticket

06/04/07: Entry into the US... together again!!!!!!!

08/07/07: MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My baby got her visa in mail just Friday.

A quick synopsys on us..

Rose is a pina living in Hong Kong for 7 years now.



She called me for the first time in Oct 2003

after many calls and IMs; I think I love her, first meet in Jul 2004

She gets divorce papers Nov 2004

I start 1st petition process Dec 2004

I joined VJ day after Asian Tsunami (different name)

Apr 2005, RFE says needed PR official annulment

Got that, petition approved Jun 2005

1st interview: says to come back next month under AR

2nd interview: petition sent back, official annulment date after petition date

1st petition denied Nov 2005

Travel to HK 2nd time Feb 2006

Started 2nd petition Jun 2006

NOA2 Sep 2006

Interview Jan 2007: Needed NSO copy of annulment & name change in passport

I say give up. and trashed the old VJ profile.

Rose managed to get a NSO and change of name in passport

Mar 2007 submitted the forms, and Visa will arrive registered mail.

Visa print in passport arrive 4 days later.
