Is Nebraska really working?

Yes, I know... But few months ago, Nebraska was taking less than 4 months FOR THE WHOLE PROCESS! From NOA 1 to interview!

And anyway, most people use to receive their NOA 2 in less than three months and what scares me is that a lot of people that sent the petition in December are still waiting now!

Actually, looking at the timeline chart here, average processing time to NOA2 for Nebraska is 90 days:

Do people actually realise that the data on the statistics on this forum are only based on the pople updating their timelines. So the data is only as accurate as the people putting in their correct information :)

Correct. And the sad thing is, it is consistently more accurate than the processing time information provided by the USCIS.

LOL Scot you are so right!! on average the USCIS timings are just estimated I would think, so all in all, ALL cases are individual. There could be an officer who decides to pick a petition up say dated end january when they say on the site they are processing petitions dated December. So I think the best thing is just to let go of the worrying and stressing and deal with it as soon as we hear anything lol (easy said than done) and remember to fill in the TIMELINES on this forum and keep updating as soon as anything happens :) umm maybe captain Ewok should put that and stress that in the pinned section at the top - maybe even typing it in caps and in red!!! LOL just a suggestion :) (thinking i'll send him a message lol)

The USCIS dates are meant to be the "latest possible dates" - not the average processing date, but ALL applications with the USCIS submission date have been at least looked at by the date they show.

But every case is different. And the USCIS is completely inconsistent. So the best guess is that it will take as long as it takes. :)

See you in Ohio!! :)

I have a NOA1 date of March 13. My case has been touched twice in the last 2 days! I know it is way early for me to get my NOA2. What do you think is going on?
