You shouldn't have a problem as long as you have solid genuine evidence. It's always best to front load if there is a red flag issue. Maybe the interview questions might be a little tougher so be prepared (study the evidence you submit) also make sure you have quality evidence. Wish you the best!

Before you assume it is better to ask and clarify what the status really is. I do not think OP thinks CO's are idiots nor is there any fraud in her post.

Thank you very much :)

Your age difference is common over at the Phils.

You are both adults. Everyone needs to prove they have a legitimate relationship and one or both are not trying to commit visa fraud. Since your country is not a high fraud country (you can visit the US), extra proof is not needed.

That being said, the evidences you should present should be able to convince a total stranger, the Embassy CO. Most relationships follows a normal evolution, getting to know you stage, discussions of the future, then discussions of more intimate nature (its OK to include some lovey-dovey stuff since couples that intend to get married do that), then talk of meetings in person, talk of the visa process, talk of the move to the US, talk of life and planning for that in the US. Include snippets of all these stages.

We have 21 years age difference (I'm older American male). The age difference was a big issue for our CO in Vietnam. Go for it and see what happens. It will probably be OK. Good luck!

Suspicious of what? Say it!

Old coot gets a young hottie?

Young gold-digger gonna get his gold?

They're adults, let them have at it.

If you are 23 year old male from Middle East or Africa and she is 40 y.o. female from US than the answer is yes. It will be considered a fraud. And in 99% of cases it is. Simply due to the culture, acceptance in the region. Plain and simple. If the other way around depends.

ummmmm wrong, why would age difference be fraud???????? I am 21 years older than my middle eastern husband and he has not one single problem getting his cr1 visa. Explain to me why it's fraud?

Best that you have discussed children together with your fiance so you can convince the CO you both have thought through what you each want your family life together to be. Very important if he already has 'his' family while you may be ready for chilren when he is looking forward to retirement.

Best of luck.
