Hi Everyone,

I am planning to pick-up my visa in 2GO Branch at SM Southmall, so it will be much safer since I am not always at home.

Do you think the delivery of visa at 2GO Branch is much faster than to deliver it to your house?

There is no need to wait unless of course you take a Feb appointment for next week which would not be much time for your file to arrive. Best to schedule 2-3 weeks out from receiving your MNL#. There is going to be many items that you will have to complete before your interview so yes, begin the process of paying your fee, completing the DS160, scheduling your appointment etc.

Yes it's quicker by about 2 days.

Don't worry about a birth date, NVC is just a "sorting point" for the most part with the K-1 visa. If there is anything that needs to be corrected you do it once at USEM. Leave NVC in the rear view mirror -

Thanks! I called them again today and they said it has been forwarded to embassy. Any idea how I would be able to get my case number and how I can get the birthday corrected?

I called them to get my case number and when they ask me to verify my fiance's birthday they say it's not the one they have on file. I checked all the forms we turned in and we filled them out with the correct date. Because of this, they are unable to give me any info about my case. Only thing she could tell me was that it was forwarded to embassy today.

Just found out our case was cc at feb12. Haven't received cc email though. How long does it usually take for us to be notified of cc via email and the interview date notification? F2a case here. Thanks.

That is what I thought, just wanted to confirm. It happens with NVC from time to time, you will have to wait until you receive the NVC letter in the mail to get your MNL #. Once you get your letter you can see if NVC transposed the month and date or totally bungled the birth date.

The date typo has no effect on the process at USEM.

Oh ya, when you get the NVC letter email a copy to your fiancee, it will come in handy to complete the medical.

I had my medical last Tuesday and I was advised that I need to undergo sputum test, that the result will be released within 2 months I don't know how was that happened, for 5 years - annual medical in my company, I'm always clear with my x-ray test. Thus, I was not expecting this to happen.

SLEC has to follow CDC guidelines, you annual company medical does not.

Hopefully your SPUTUM will be negative in 60 days.

2 months is not that long you'll never realized a month has passed and then only 1 month of waiting..
