No. It's because we have new members! :energetic:

Yes maybe but I remember it say if you a new member it good if you look for answer before you ask... maybe i wrong but i want to be understand of this so i read everything rather than be nurse from a bottle. If i dont do this then i will never educate myself but this is how i was teached in school. just me i think

Rather than being rude, when most of us are already under a lot of stress, you could choose which threads not to read?

Seems to me the "read" or "not read" road goes both ways.

Yes the AVERAGE time from filling to Visa is about 7 months. Dont be decieved by the faster processing times, these are not the norm. Only under extremely rare cases is the process 4-5 months. Best to get ready now for the long haul. Melinda and I just finished part one of our journey, getting her here on the K-3 visa. That took 5 months and that was because of help from a US Senator due to a family medical emergency.

Now we have the AOS which is even longer.

It is not good to give false hope here, because the reality is this is a very long process, so resolve yourselves to going the distance. It will help when you get the dissapointments and set backs along the way if you set a goal of 7-8 months now.

Hang in there, it is worth it when you finally do get the visa and are together here in the US.

You understand quite well Gigo. It appears that reading is no longer tought in USA schools.
Maybe I don't understand this all but it seem the question like this get asked 10 times day

I think it's just you that can't read. If you had read the OP's post, you would see that they were Canadian (so what they teach in US schools is irrelevent) and that they had checked the timeline at VSC. I'll never understand why people would waste their time to post on a forum when they have nothing to contribute. You must be really bored.

Welcome OP, and good luck. Another way to get a feel for how long it will take is to read other posts that mention VSC and to check out the Canada forum. I have learned a load on here just from browsing other posts.

It appears that spelling isn't being "taught" in USA schools either. ;)
