i really don't know what you're going on about, but it's clear you know nothing about planned parenthood. highly doubtful you even read the op.

I really don't give 1/2 of one bucket of horse poop one way or the other about planned parenthood, but asserting that with out my taxpayer money all these people have no access to birth control is absurd.

If I was king all those brood mares on the public dole would get a mandatory dose of Norplant with every check and every sperm donor to all these kids would be eating Ramen noodles and live in tents until they footed the bill for the kids.

about what i expected from you. ignorant stay ignorant, kind of like the poor stay poor. Washington post and npr have broken down the federal funding, if you were interested. but it's clear you're repulsed by poor women and their children so..godspeed. Edited by elitesthuglib

ok. what about the other health services they provide?

The mandatory insurance that everyone is supposed to have provides mandatory coverage for those services (including contraception) with no cost and no copay. If they can't afford it their premiums are picked up by the taxpayers. If they can afford it and choose not to enroll in it then the 300 bucks it costs to "install a goalkeeper" LOL that is good for 5 years (60 bucks a year) is a lot less than the difference in the premiums that they are required to pay.

Either way, I don't give a dam about people who do what they want when they want and wander around helplessly waiting for someone to pick up the tab for their bad choices and I'm sure not putting up with the whining when it doesn't happen. Planned parenthood got defunded for shady practices, but just because they got defunded that doesn't mean access to birth control is being denied to people in Texas.

Silly rabbit.

No I am a very benevolent person. I gave a lot, I mean a lot of money at Christmas to a poor woman at work on the verge of homelessness. I even went out and and bought presents for all her kids. Of course she never knew I did it, it's how I roll.

The only thing I am against is my money bein forcefully taken and given to irresponsible people who think they are entitled and commit the same mistakes time and again.

Psychological 101, if you renforce untoward behavior it will continue.

Ps I will forgive you calling me ignorant, becuse I really like you?

well, you did say something about giving breeders norplant, which is something that planned parenthood provides..i dont get why you wouldn't want to know anything regarding pp, not that you ARE ignorant but that you're choosing to be.

What I said exactly summarizes the numbers in the op. Please accept this quarter which you can either use to call someone who cares about people who don't care about themselves or drop it in the slot and buy yourself a condom.

So does the (mandatory) health insurance the everyone is supposed to be enrolled in. The only "extra" that PP provides is the "abortion birth control option" which, if selected, is rightly on the shoulders of the couple who bypassed everything else, including their local texas wal-mart.

"wrong"

You're not saying that healthcare.gov is........misleading are you? Otherwise, since this wonderful health care law has been be-shattified upon us and passed the supreme courts test as nothing other than a "tax" any further complaints or requests for additional free help or services are currently being auto-forwarded to the "drop dead" department. Thanks for inviting us to play "bobbing for lib-turds" but as noted earlier, today you're swimming alone. Please enjoy your alone time (and post pics) and please work to raise awareness that after enrollment in this mandatory program free access to free contraception will once again be restored.

Plans in the Health Insurance Marketplace must cover contraceptive methods and counseling for all women, as prescribed by a health care provider.

Plans must cover these services without charging a copayment or coinsurance when provided by an in-network provider — even if you haven’t met your deductible.

Covered contraceptive methods

FDA-approved contraceptive methods prescribed by a woman’s doctor are covered, including:

•Barrier methods, like diaphragms and sponges

•Hormonal methods, like birth control pills and vaginal rings

•Implanted devices, like intrauterine devices (IUDs)

•Emergency contraception, like Plan B® and ella®

•Sterilization procedures

wrong about what pp offers. also, wrong in only focusing on insurance, considering availability of providers is a big part of access to health services. plenty has been written about that as well.

Still dropping floaters I see.

So now you are saying there are no providers for contraception in Texas except for PP? They can always stay in business and have the claims reimbursed for contraceptive services from the insurance companies that every single one of their clients are required to have a mandatory policy with. Same availability, same number of providers.

please, so you'll stop looking foolish, go learn about women's bodies and the types of doctors and services they specifically require !not just contraception! and where those specific providers are located.
