Well, made it out of MD before the storm hit. Went to the interview and it was pretty easy. In fact, the pre screen person actually asked more questions then the interviewee and the few he asked were to me. My fiancee neglected to bring the CENOMAR(the marriage thing?) as she thought she only had to bring a copy of her annulment. They gave her a paper to have it filled out. She did it on the same day, Jan 28th at the official office in Manila. My question is can I use the same MNL number to check her status? When I put in the MNL number nothing comes up and it states I have a wrong number.

Thanks!

Kevin

Then you have the wrong #. Her case # will remain the same for the rest of the process. Getting a 221 doesn't change anything, only a small delay in processing time.

Yes you use the MNL# you received from NVC to check your status on CEAC (your MNL # does not change). IF nothing shows up on the CEAC website it is very possible that "Elvis has left the building" and your visa package is with 2GO for delivery. When the package leaves the embassy the status on CEAC changes to can't be found.

And the CENOMAR is a listed required document in the embassy instructions letter....
