can I be delayed because my passport is "well travelled" ?

I originally filed for my k1 visa back in October, the whole process has flown by and I have my interview on Feb 24th!

I am a bit concerned however about my passport though as one corner on the photo page is a little damaged and started to peal back, the damage is only a few millimeters in size but I want to see if anyone else has had delays caused by such damage.

I have been in this forum a long time, so yes, I know at least three who have been told at the interview to get a new passport before they can have a visa. Those were--

Washed in the washing machine

Suntan lotion on some pages

Frayed, peeling corner

Airlines don't always accept damaged passports also. Some wear and tear is understandable but if it looks like the photo could have been switched or altered, it's risky. It's a while since I worked on the check-in at Heathrow (but I still work in the industry) and we had to reject anything where there was a possibility that something could have been modified.

The person with the frayed passport rejected at the embassy posted a photo of it here in the UK forum. It was only a corner and wrinkled page edges and not anything that looked like the photo could have been swapped. It was still rejected. I guess it will depend on your officer that day.

Of course. I just wanted to point out that not only does the embassy need to accept it but also the airline. And that also depends on which check-in agent you get on the day.

I thought of the name and found the photo and a post about the rejected passport. Your call whether to replace.

If you do get a new passport, the passport office are ridiculously quick around now. I sent my application online on Friday and it was with me yesterday. Or do it in person.
