I gave up on calling, tomorrow makes 5 months and 3 weeks... Hopefully by 08/16/2016 I will be leaving this waiting room..

I hear you, I should give up on calling to did not hear back Tier 2 officer. I hope we all leave this waiting room. I will pray that you don't reach 6 month mark as I did.

2/4/2016 - I-130 file and documents mailed to Chicago Lockbox

2/9/2016 - Received NOA1 via text and email

2/15/2016 - Received NOA1 in mail

5/18/2016 to 6/1/2016 - Visited wife in india

8/11/2016 - Received NOA 2 via text and email :dancing: :dancing:

8/22/2016 - Received NOA 2 in mail

9/6/2016 - Case was sent to NVC (received text & email)

9/12/2016 - NVC received our Case from USCIS... wait continues for NVC case number

9/27/2016 - Submitted -261 and paid AOS fee

9/29/2016 - Received and paid IV fee

10/9/2016 - Submitted DS-260

10/15/2016 - AOS and IV package mailed to NVC

10/19/2016 - Scan Date

12/07/2016 - Case Completed

12/27/16 - Interview date received over the phone

12/30/16 - P4 letter received

There is no record of anyone getting an RFE for typing vs writing in that box. If you find someone who got an RFE for that, please let us all know.

All the best February 2016 Filers, I'm a February 2015 Filer, best advise is to be patient, make sure you send off all the documents to avoid RFE's, and during the NVC stage, they can send you a check

No, I know that. What I mean is they have (unfortunately) been given the backlog from Texas plus their own new cases. There are people there with NOA1 dates from July. So if ours has been sent there,

Filed on the 5th of February so that makes 186 days for me. I called in three times...was told that they're still working on cases from the 2nd of January in Nebraska. I'm not sure how true that is though...

Im trying not to stress or worry about it praying that I soon get a email stating that I am approved..

I received a call back from Tier 2 officer today ( day after I requested call), Surprisingly he was very polite in answering questions. He told me that there is 34 days delays as of right now and I don't hear anything in next 34 days than I should be able to submit case inquiry which currently says that I am still within normal processing time. Hope I get approved soon and not have to wait 34 days.

Congrats to those that have been approved.I received alert on Uscis apps that I download on my phone on 10th of August,2016 which says (Request for Additional Evidence was mailed)so I want know if anyone have the idea how long will take uscis to approve my petition if I send all the additional evidence that they request for?
