There is no record of anyone getting an RFE for typing vs writing in that box. If you find someone who got an RFE for that, please let us all know.

All the best February 2016 Filers, I'm a February 2015 Filer, best advise is to be patient, make sure you send off all the documents to avoid RFE's, and during the NVC stage, they can send you a check

No, I know that. What I mean is they have (unfortunately) been given the backlog from Texas plus their own new cases. There are people there with NOA1 dates from July. So if ours has been sent there,

Hello Everyone,

I have been following VJ since I submitted my I-130. Last few weeks have been frustrating but knowing I am not alone waiting make little better. Congratulations to all recent approvals. I hope I get approval soon.... This Friday it will be exactly 6 months since NOA1. The wait is killing me.

Hoping to get approval everyday with finger crossed.

2/9/2016 - Received NOA1 via text and email

2/15/2016 - Received NOA1 in mail

5/18/2016 to 6/1/2016 - Visited wife in india

8/22/2016 - Received NOA 2 in mail

9/6/2016 - Case was sent to NVC (received text & email)

9/12/2016 - NVC received our Case from USCIS... wait continues for NVC case number

9/27/2016 - Submitted -261 and paid AOS fee

9/29/2016 - Received and paid IV fee

10/9/2016 - Submitted DS-260

10/15/2016 - AOS and IV package mailed to NVC

10/19/2016 - Scan Date

Stay positive guys!!! good luck this week...

We are at 131 days with PD 29th March at Nebraska. It looks like we are about to get approved very soon in the coming weeks. I wanted to know and get ready for the NVC stage. What pre preparations can i start right now to save my time after i get approved. Please provide helpful guidance on what do i need to prepare.

You can never start to prepare too early for the NVC stage.

Same here praying that this is the week for all February filers......... I just checked and they have 65 untouched I-130 file that they received on February 5th, wondering what's going on. Same issued with all February files. Another week with hopes starts.

How Was Nebraska to you guys today ?

Still waiting.....

I called them today and tried to talk to tier 2 officer but the message says that the wait time was 230 minutes!!!!! I am hoping they would at least call me back today and give me some real update.
