February 2016 I-130 filers

Well, the sum total for my batch yesterday was 3 RFEs, 2 approvals and 1 date of birth amended. There were 104 I-130s in my batch of 500 numbers. The other 396 were other file types. All were received on the same day. N wonder they are falling behind if they are only processing 5 a day from a batch of 104 received the same day. It will rake a month to process that batch.

Good morning so I extended my searchsearch to 200 filtered it down to just the i-130 which was 99 ...33 of those 99 were approved and 22 RFE'S... The one right before mine was approved and 2 after... Really getting frustrated..

My IP was banned because I've been checking too much :) I guess that is a sign to step away and relax. Or, I'll just change my IP and move forward. Faint hopes for this week still, but it looks like Nebraska took a big long smoke break this week.

If you have the app on the phone it checks constantly throughout the day. It's annoying.

Just checked my batch and the one before. So far today no movement on either batch.

They really have slowed down this week. Maybe a lot of the employees are taking summer breaks now?

Hi there! May/June filer here, stalking the February board. What app are you using? I have an android phone and there are several in the app store. I downloaded the free ones and played around with them, but haven't really loved any of them. Mostly because nothing exciting is happening haha.

I see you're at Nebraska, they may have slowed down a little to train officers for the U visas? But hopefully that means they'll be hiring more people and speeding things along soon.

Yeah, the iPhone app. I can't really blame the app. I've had happy fingers when it comes to running the search several times a day.

It is the start of vacation season. This is beginning to worry me as the 4th week will likely slow down even more if vacations slow things down this much.

I have an iPhone so I don't know anything about the android app, sorry. I use the case tracker one by Stephen Aldous but I don't know if this is available for android.

That makes sense about the training for the U visas and the slowdown at Nebraska. The timing fits.

I've just been speaking to a girl on Facebook who filed at Nebraska for her husband. Her NOA1 was Jan 6. She's still waiting. I could have cried...

So far today my batch has yielded one RFE and one approval. That's even less productive than yesterday.

I sent my I-130 off in February, got the notice that it was received February 29th in the Nebraska processing center. I see that everyone whose applications were received at the beginning of February have already gotten their NOA2... that is encouraging! Could that mean mine is coming soon??? Hubby is in El Salvador, I hate being apart. Thank goodness for Skype and WhatsApp!!
