Thanks :)

Is there some other site for NVC where I need to register to get email updates? How does NVC keep one updated?

NVC will email the petitioner when they assign a case number and invoice ID number, you don't have to register anywhere. They get the petitioner's email address from the file USCIS sends them.

If you create a timeline it will give you an estimated approval date based on how quickly others are being approved.

If you look under the British flag to the left of this post you will see a small link called timeline. That will show you my timeline. If you create one too it will help you see the timescale of the process.

Timeline in brief:

hello!!

I'm new on this forum. and I'm still waiting for Noa 2 but I have a question. if someone can help me or has the same problem, I checked my case on USCIS website and they said this:

NOTICE WAS RETURNED TO USCIS BECAUSE THE POST OFFICE COULD NOT DELIVER IT.

This was so strange because my address is fine. I received the notice about the 420.00 fee and also my lawyer has my Noa1. So I called them but USCIS said THt they will resent it to my address. but I was wondering if this will affect my process or if anyone has the same issue?

than you guys!!

HOPING FOR FAST APPROVALS FOR ALL OF US!!!!

I-130: 02-19-16

NOA1: To my lawyer 03-11-16

We had the same issue. The NOA1 was apparently sent twice but we did not receive either copy of it. Our status also shows the same as yours on the USCIS website.

You don't need the hard copy NOAs so it's not a big deal.

Hey, we received an email with our NVC case number, well i dunno if we did a mistake here, we first paid our AOS fee ie: 120$ and then submitted our choice of agent form. Do you think this will effect our case?. And what are the next steps to take? Do we send our Financial Documents to NVC now?

You're in the wrong forum asking that question. You need to join the may nvc filiers forum and post that question.

Here is the link to the forum, the persons there are very helpful and can answer all your questions about the NVC process. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/594365-nvc-filers-may-2016/?p=8121251

Yes, please ask NVC questions and report your progress on the NVC thread. This thread has a lot of people still waiting for I-130 to be approved. Most of us have not been through the NVC before so we can't offer much help.

Also, I think some members are finding it disheartening to see people posting about the next stage when they are still waiting for the I-130 to be approved.
