Approved today 4/27/16 ! PD 2/12/16

How did you learn the case was sent to NVC? We only got an email about the approval. Looking at old users, it seems it can take anywhere between 1-4 weeks to send case to NVC.

Did you file in February? Why did you call? It's only been three months and the guidelines provide for up to six months. No need to call until you pass the six-month mark.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

Cases from the Philippines tend to be approved in a shorter period (1-3 months) and Potomac seems to be plowing through approvals pretty quick. But the standard rule of thumb is 5-6 months for initial approval and calling before that time has elapsed is not really helpful (i.e., you will get a standard response from the service center).
