I think we are unlucky to end up being routed to Potomac Service Center. It is the slowest among the others. I have received my electronic NO1 for I-129F last month and I never received the hard copy and yes I have the correct address written on it. The same address provided in I-130 and I got my hard copy NO1 withing three days of my PD ( Feb 5th).

I think we could end up waiting more than two years if this is the pace, because NVC stage is a night mare too.

You won't hear anything from USCIS for the next 5 or 6 months until approval, unless they give you an RFE before then (or if you applied for an expedite).

Unfortunately, Potomac Service Center has been having systems issues and they haven't been updating the website regularly. None of our cases are appearing on the online tracker at all yet; we're all in the same boat on that one.

Looks like you'll have to call USCIS periodically to get updates regarding whether your expedite request has been approved or not.

1-800-375-5283, then press 8...7...7...1...6 to leave a message and get a supervisor to call you back.

How do you guys know this?

By trial and error, and entering different Potomac case numbers into the online case tracker. The last one in the system is YSC1690003505 and it says it was received January 19th. No others have been entered into the system after that (you can try searching YSC1690003506, etc, etc, and nothing comes up).

What does this mean " Preference Classification: 201 B INA Spouse of USC"?

201 B INA is the law that pertains to Immediate Family visas, it's just telling you which category your petition falls under - Spouse of a US Citizen.

You have to wait to hear the message talking every time before you press the next number.

So you dial 1-800-375-5283 and you wait to hear the messagestart , then press 8, then wait to hear the message start, then press 7, every time.

I just called and it does not work. It says 1 for English, 2 for petition that is filed and then asks me what my reciept number is, but how do I enter the letters?

I got hold of a person that could not help me much but transfered me to a immigration office, Well since I live abroad and do not have a US number and could not leave a message. No luck today!

Hm, I guess the options have really changed.

For the letters in your receipt number, YSC = 972. Each number on the phone pad has 3 or 4 letters associated with it.

Looks like my instructions made a mistake (I hope the below works):

(800) 375-5283, after select English or Spanish, Hit respectively 87716.

You have to choose English or Spanish first, then do the 87716. Sorry!
