Did anyone of you guys check to see if your case made it onto the online database (USCIS case status tool)? If so, when did you guys receive your NOA1? I just want to know when I expect to have the ability of checking my case status online. Thanks!

NOA1 - 8 Feb 2016 - Potomac, still not showing online. Last time Potomac uploaded into the online case tracker was 19 January. I've seen plenty of posts saying Potomac is having trouble with their online system. I've seen evidence that things are only done once a month, so perhaps by March 1st, there might be some new cases entered into the case tracker for YSC(Potomac) cases, but just have to wait and see. The last number they entered in the system was YSC1690003505 (January 19th) and it's been like that for a while now.

My Convoluted Story (see my profile for more details)

4 Apr 2014 - USCIS NOIR
May 2015 - Reconciliation
Nov 2015 - Vacation together in Spain (7th in-person visit with each other)
I-130/IR-1 (second time around)
4 Feb 2016 - Priority Date

Finally got the email exactly 3 business days after they received the package in Phoenix, we were transferred to Nebraska, now waiting for NOA1 hardcopy. How long is taking that center for approvals ???

Checking in with the February crowd.

Now the wait begins. You will receive a paper copy of the receipt (called NOA1) and then many months of wait until the approval (NOA2).

Next step will be going through the NVC processing. There are multiple guides and discussions for that on VJ (start with http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process).It will be a while, but we have already started thinking about and in the process of collecting the documents required for that, such as tax transcripts (of the petitioner, for AOS I-864), police clearance certificate so we are ready as soon as we get NOA2. Good luck!

The beneficiary. You have to supply one from every country you have lived in for at least a year since the age of 16.

Here in Thailand, you can't get the police report until after packet 3

 Requesting letter from the embassy of the country to which the applicant plans to travel. A notice from the US Embassy regarding your case (i.e. a packet 3 cover letter) can be used for this purpose.

As for the medical, from packet 4 instructions

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL EXAMINATION

As part of your application for a visa to enter the United States, you are required to undergo a medical examination. The following physicians have received authorization from this Embassy to conduct official medical examinations of visa applicants. Medical examinations from any other physician are not acceptable for visa application purposes.

It will depend on the country for details, but from what I have gathered on VJ. By the time it goes to the Embassy, within a year; but for the Medical, within 6 months. You will need to look on the Embassy's website for their specific requirements.
