Hello. I'm bringing my mother from Mexico. My husband could be the sponsor. But he had an accident in 2013 and was getting worked compensation benefits. I read that he can send an explanation why he failed to fill taxes for one year. It's that possible? Is there any risk? Apologies for my English,I am still learning. Thank you.

Regardless of what benefits he was receiving he still needed to file a tax return.

My mother has a case in nvc. She should go to CD. Juarez Mexico to the interview. My husband is working now. He wants to fill out I 845 affidavit support for her. But he filed 2013 and 2015 only because in 2014 he was not suppose to fill it because he had an accident in 2013 so his, our only income was work comp benefits. We were told he couldnt fill out taxes because workercomp is no taxable.
