How to get ex's alien number?

My fiancé is filing a K1 for he and I to be together.

He's been married before, they eloped while she was on a VWP and they went the AOS route.

How can he get her alien number without speaking to her?

It wasn't the best decision he's made and they used a lawyer that she paid for so she could speed up the process to get her greencard and bounce. He seems to think the lawyer or she will have the forms and paperwork.

If he doesn't know it then write Unknown on the place on the form. USCIS has it and can look it up. No need to go chasing after it.

Could be problems for your case if his divorce was finalized not too long ago. USCIS may deem your finance' is getting the foreigners into the country through the marriage route.

He has sent her a text message so hopefully she is cooperative. I guess we just write 'unknown' if she doesn't get back to him.

We have flown back and forth cumulatively 8 times in 16 months to see one another so have plenty of evidence of being together.

Not all ex's communicate with one another after the divorce for any reason they have. So, not knowing the A# or not giving their A# is not a problem.

Those trips does represent very strong evidence already so good luck on your journey!

I didn't know my ex's A number and it wasn't an issue with the K1 process. I wrote in "unknown".

Don't worry. My husband didn't know his ex's A number when he filed for my fiancée visa. He didn't write anything in the form. We didn't have any problem. I received my visa after three months.
