@snethamarai! We are in the same boat. I called to find out about my case and I am told to just wait even though the case is already delayed by like 8 months. I kind of got mad on the officer but they got power so I ended it well.

Hey @jomfer. I see we are both from Georgia. I wonder if it is somehow causing the delay. I get really mad at these people too. :( Have no visibility into whats happening.

Hi guys, this Friday I am finally going for an oath ceremony. Just to share my experience...I have never received my second GC, since I applied for citizenship before they approved my i751 case. So I received an appointment notice in the mail about a month prior to appointment for Oct 3. Then a week before the n-400 interview they sent me a notice cancelling my appointment. I could not get an answer why or when it would be rescheduled when I called customer service. So, I went there with original letter on the date of appointment without mentioning that it got canceled. They gave me a number and I waited about 1.5 hours to see an officer. Luckily I had a very good officer, who was shocked that my case was taking so long, he apologized and said he will take care of it. Apparently some strange woman put the case in suspended mode because I applied for citizenship prior to getting an approval for GC. Of course, it's BS, if I didn't do that I would still be waiting on GC. So he didn't ask me for any supporting documents, he called several officers to get help unlocking my case in the system and he interviewed me for n-400. Unfortunately, he had to put in a ticket to get the case unlocked but he assured me the case was now in good hands. I think it also helped that I came with my husband and our daughter. He had no other questions. About a week later I got a notice that my GC was approved (but they won't send it obviously). And now 4 weeks later I finally get to the last step - oath and naturalization certificate. I wish you guys luck, and I would keep calling them, or schedule an infopass, it's taking them too long.

Even though the wait is hard, it appears as if things worked out for you as you are about to take your oath.  We filed my wife's ROC in March 2016 and she received her 10 year green card in May 2017.  We sent her N-400 docs in April 2017 before she received her 10 year green card. The Atlanta office is processing N-400s from 12/22/2017, so you are ahead of the game.  Congratulations on your citizenship!

Congratulations Tatiana! I am glad to hear that you are finally getting the citizenship. No news on my case so far. I am only now getting ready to apply for my n-400 forms. Hope it works better than my i751.

Hi guys,

quick question.. For those who have received their 10 year green card, when you receive it via priority mail does it come under your partners and your name?... or is it just addressed to you?..

thanks in advance!..

Question to Tatiana and anyone reading this:

I am filling out my n-400 now. I still haven't heard back about my i-751. My green card expired last year, so I only have a seal in my passport for now. Local USCIS office took my expired green card when I went to get the seal in my passport. The first question in the n-400 requirement is a photocopy of the green card. How do I do this? I have pictures that I took of my green card. Do I just submit those pictures? Do I also maybe scan my seal in the passport?

I would submit the pictures and the seal.  That is considered a "copy".

Thanks shell20. I think the only reason they finally approved this is because we went ahead and applied for N400 as well. I truly hope I am the last person in this thread who was waiting for their gc.
