just a quick update - I am March 2016 filer with expired extension letter and a stamp in the passport. I have received a citizenship interview appointment letter with the interview date of October 3. I was told by the officer who stamped my passport that sometimes they process both cases at the citizenship interview. So in my case I have never received a 10 year GC but going straight for n-400 interview. Good news I guess 😀

Good news and good luck Tatiana.

I am in the same boat as Tatiana. I received a notification stating I am now in-line for citizenship interview and will receive a notice in mail.

What receipt number are you using? Use the CRI89, the one on the bottom right corner on the Biometrics letter.

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

No that one will not work. Use the number that is on your Biometrics letter. On the bottom to the right, there is a barcoding. It says "APPLICATION NUMBER 2". Use this one.

Ya, my extension letter had expired so I had gone to local office and had passport stamped for another year. Just got to go with their flow I guess.

Hello, update - still no green card. We submitted RFE on July 8th (after a big fiasco of USCIS not actually sending the request letter to us on time). I was told to wait for 60 days. So after 60 days in September, no nothing nada zip. I call again after 60 days and all they can tell me is 'it appears your case is under review'. I am so sick of this. I need to travel outside of the country to visit my grandma but scared that I would not be allowed inside US again. Green card and 1 yr extension letter both expired at the moment. Only have a seal in my passport from local office. :(

@snethamarai! We are in the same boat. I called to find out about my case and I am told to just wait even though the case is already delayed by like 8 months. I kind of got mad on the officer but they got power so I ended it well.
