I have to say I feel like the first week and last week of a month are often overlooked.  We see mid-month approvals before early-month approvals, and end-of-month approvals come much later.

April 14: Real checklist for AOS (saying tax number was incorrect when it wasn't)
April 30: Another AOS checklist, for proof of employment (which was already sent)
May 1: Checklist for IV- certified marriage certificate (even though I sent a certified one originally)
July 1: INTERVIEW!!! - APPROVED!
July 16: POE through Miami
July 22: SSN card in the mail
August 30, 2014: Green card arrives in the mail!!!
 
ROC: 366 days
April 27, 2016: Sent 300 page ROC packet to VSC via overnight mail
May 16: Check shown as charged online, received NOA 1 dated April 29
June 20, 2016- Biometrics
April 28, 2017: Approval
May 4, 2017: Approval letter arrived
May 15, 2017: GC arrives in mail
 
N-400: 190 days
May 8: Sent packet to Dallas Lockbox
May 12: NOA 1, Credit card charged
June 7: Biometrics
June 16: "In line"
Oct 2: Interview letter arrives (online status still says ''in line'')
Oct 31: Interview- Approved!
Nov 13: Oath ceremony!  Applied for passport & registered to vote on site.
Nov 22: Passport arrives (paid for expedited service and overnight delivery)
 
Journey complete! A total of 1701 days or 4 years, 7 months and 26 days.

Finally got my own approval in mail.

I just got the letter (no status change and no card yet) - The approval date is literally 1 day AFTER the day i went for my stamp.

Suggestion for all those NOT approved yet - go get the stamp..

I got my approval today.

Approval date is April 27 2017.

Letter is from USCIS local office.

Guys what should be the office in approval letter?

It often seems like they send some to the local office... it's the local office's decision whether to approve or ask for an interview.

finally online status changed to "New card being produced".

1 week after i received my approval letter.

Based on what i see the card arrives about 5-7 business after this status is updated.

I see USCIS website has updated the processing time and now they are processing April 04, 2016 cases. Does anyone know the link where to file an online inquiry regarding the case update? Is the following the right link? https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayONPTForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=onpt

But I just tried to place an inquiry. It's saying the stupid thing is still within the normal processing time and wouldn't allow me to place it. How can my case be normal processing time when I have applied on March 7th, 2017?

just to share my update - I filed on March 10, 2016. I have submitted an inquiry through a local senator's office. They sent me a response from USCIS that both of my cases i-751 and n-400 are at the field office in Atlanta. They will be processed at the same time at n-400 interview. I was actually told the same thing when I went to get a stamp in the passport. So maybe that could be the case with yours, unless you haven't filled n-400 yet.

Thanks for the update. But no unfortunately this is not my case. I haven't applied for N-400 yet. :(
