I have a scheduled an appointment for 1-551 stamp  Should I go for it or not I don't know . I am not going to travel soon. I think my green card will be arrive soon!!! I am so excited thats why I calculated wrong!!  Yes 13 months

They likely won't give you a stamp if your GC is being produced. I'd cancel the appointment if you're not travelling soon.

Hey all,

 

I finally got my approval: Date of decision is 4/12/2017, from the letter I received today, 4/17/2017. I haven't received the physical card, and my online status hasn't been updated yet.

 

Did anyone else note that the mail is addressed to your first initial and last name? So for John Smith, its addressed to J Smith? At the bottom of the letter it asks if all the information above is correct. Did anyone else notice this?

Just got a letter from USCIS saying my case had been approved. Date of decision Apr 11 and should receive my new card within 90 days. Online status not updated.

 

Such a relief. Good luck to you all who are still anxiously waiting.

Hi Yilees, was the letter addressed to your full name first name or just your first letter of your first name and full last name?

HI all,

 

I had an appointment on April 7th, at my local office and got my passport stamp  valid for a year  the IO  said my  case is pending and I should received a decisions in the mail I just thanked him and left,(I didn't even ask him about the status of my case)  everything took about 15-20 minutes.. VSC  processing time is now Feb 29, which is kind of good news..
