Well:

1. Normal processing time is when your NOA date is after the processing date on the website here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do

Just go there and choose the Vermont service center and you'll see the date (February 15th, 2016)

2. When you call USCIS, ask the agent to speak to a tier-2 officer. They can't deny you that!

Ha, I didn't understand what normal processing time is I guess. Thanks for the explanation.

Ok, next time I call them I will ask them to connect me to a tier 2 officer.

The sad thing is that https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do displays processing case date Feb 15, 2016 but the list is as of January 31, 2016 and today is April 11, 2016. Sucks.

Yep, it truly sucks. Only relief is coming to this forum and finding out that people are indeed getting their approvals.

Yes. They will likely update their website this week - (they usually "update" it about the middle of the month). But when they do, the "current processing date" will be Feb 31 - So the information on the website is always out of date by at least 6 weeks.

Back in the "Great I-130 Backup of 2013/14" we used to think that they do it that way to have a cushion during which time nobody can put in a service request. If you call them, they treat that number as if it's absolutely current, so if your date is any time before the date on their website, they can point to it and say it's within parameters.

I am a March 10,2016 filler , I have not heard anything, Is there any body waiting from first week of March?  I am going to stamp my passport soon.

I am March 10 filer as well, and I believe there was at least one more person following this thread that filed the same time. Either that batch has been delayed or we are just pending background check to be cleared..who knows. But I have not heard anything either. I had my biometrics done for n400 already so I wonder if that can speed up anything. I will be stamping my passport next month if I don't hear anything by then.

My lawyer said to me ,If you apply for N400 While your I-751 is pending , it causes for delay because they will wait for background check will be cleared. I do not know it is true or not , but  nothing we can do. I will wait until May 1 than I will contact with Costumer Service.

I am also march 10 filer and waiting for approval. I did not file for N400. Let's wait for timeline to be get updated. If our priority date will not come under process timeline then we need to wait until may 14.

I'm also a March 10, 2016....havent heard anything either. Did an infopass lastweek to get my passport stamped...case is pending as per immigration officer 😑

I filed mine March 17, I made an infopass appointment and went for our passport stamps yesterday( both mine and my 16 yr old son's passport). Same day I did my N400 biometrics . I figured it was a perfect time, since our local office is a couple hours away from us.  N400 biometrics is in the 6th floor and passport stamp is in the 3rd floor , but in the same building. After they hand me over the booklet ( civics study guide) no cd by the way. I rushed to go down to the 3rd floor to get our passport stamps. The lady in the counter, just asked my Extension letter( just mine, my son didn't receive an extension letter), 2 yr gc's and passports. It was a good 10 mins overall, checking everything. She gave me back our passports with stamps on it, and the extension letter but she took our gc's. Now she told me she made an inquiry about the whereabouts of our 10 yr greencards too.  Because she saw that our application was already approved. When I checked today my USCIS status online still " Case Was Received" . Now i'm unto checking our mailbox everyday.

Too quiet the fact that we are 55% for March filers!

A day before i travel out of the country, I receive my approval notice. I would love to of had my GC by this time but finally some relief. Good luck to everyone else still waiting
