I talked to a uscis agent on the phone recently.I mentioned that some on visajourney are receiving their ROC in six months.He said don't believe what you see on visajourney about how long it takes,that my ROC petition is going to take one year. He even asked me if I wanted to make a bet on who was right me or him! I guess according to him we are seeing just the lucky few listed here.So now we are ready to wait a whole year.

Le sigh, their own website says the wait time for California service centre for removal of conditions is 6 months. The misinformation line strikes again :-) they were right for the other centre it is currently listing a day in fall 2015 as being the cases they are working on but to generalise and say that all removal of conditions cases are taking a year is simply not true.

After unsuccessfully trying both online and on the phone we was finally able to file a service request at the 6 months 3 weeks stage.

Just wondering if they have taken on some VSC cases as there doesn't seem to have been an approval from CSC in a while now

Well #######, we got an RFE, dated 10/13 and received today on 10/18.

They want another copy of the Marriage Certificate, and stated, "You provided some evidence of marital bona fides. However, the documentation submitted is insufficient because it does not show joint financial responsibility or joint residence throughout the length of the conditional residency." They then go on to suggest copy of driver's licenses, deeds, utility bills, insurance policies, credit card statements and tax forms, for example.

I suspect what happened is that we changed my spouse's address online, and they may be thinking that I stayed at the old house and he moved without me. What sucks is that the bank wouldn't put him on the loan since he's not working at this time, so I had to record the deed on our new house in June in my name as sole and separate property. I'm thinking to call the lawyer and get the deed changed ASAP, meanwhile have a bunch more of the documents I've saved since sending in the original packet in March.
