Hi Everyone, Card mailed out on 10.04.16. Expected delivery is 10.06.16. This has been a great source of help for us and we wish everyone the best. Will definitely be back for the citizenship process.

I was curious to know the next step after getting 10yr GC. Let's say if I receive a 10yr GC in March and being eligible to file for citizenship in March, how long does it take to get the citizenship? What does the citizenship process involve as in do we need biometrics and interviews together with the spouse again? Does the processing time depends on the location as well? Thanks.

I called the 800 number to check on the status of my case. The lady who helped me was very nice and asked me if I wanted to submit a Service Request. I said yes. She submitted the Service Request for me and said that I should hear back from them in 15 days.

Hi Gabs1314, I called 1-800-375-5283. The lady I spoke with was very helpful and nice. Like you, I am in Florida as well, but I don't think that affects the processing times since ROC applications are handled by the CSC.

After seeing our update online that we were approved on Sept. 27, the card finally arrived yesterday October 6. Good luck to everyone on the rest of their journey.
