Just added our timeline, still waiting :(

We did just come back from a trip to Europe without the extension letter, ended up going to get I-551 stamp at the service center prior to the trip. Immigration were a little squirrely coming back, but all good.

We got the update today. On September 28, 2016, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WAC------, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Yay!! Best wishes to everyone who is waiting for their approval, i wish you all get approval pretty soon.

March 5- Package delivered to USCIS Chicago.
March 11- Email and text notification with Receipt Numbers.
March 14- Hardcopy of NOA1 for all three applications.
March 21- Received biometrics appointment letter for 04/04/2014
April 2 - Completed Walk in Biometrics appointment successfully. (Original Appointment was for 4th April)
April 9- I-485 Case status has been updated to " Testing & Interview "
April 16- Text and email alert for case update for AOS interview on 22nd May 2014.
April 18- Hardcopy of Interview notice received in mail.
May 22- AOS interview, approved on the spot and got stamp in my passport.

Also some folks are suggesting stamping I-551 if travelling abroad, is that really required or necessary? My wife is currently of country and she has the extension letter which is what we thought she will present along with expired green card when coming back.

The extension letter is supposed to be fine. We unfortunately lost ours somehow, so absolutely had to get the passport stamp. If you can get the passport stamp anyway, its free and might give you additional peace of mind and is a good backup if the other paper did go missing...

In quite a crazy coincidence, got the approval notice today, card being produced :)

We got the update today. On September 28, 2016, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WAC------, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Yay!! Best wishes to everyone who is waiting for their approval, i wish you all get approval pretty soon.

Congratulations to both of you....Did you also get any emails confirming the approval? Let us know how long it takes to actually get 'the card' in hand.
