also can someone tell me where i can call to inquire about my packet and why wasn't the check cashed?

Well, you can call immigration service, I dont know the name specifically but im sure that is on internet. My husband called yesterday and basically they have 30 days tu replay and if they do not do it, you can call and ask what to do (like, send a new package or wait). But they can have the package and dont have yet processed, so it would not be in their system and that only make worst the process.

Doing pretty good, we just got the Biometrics letter today from CSC. Scheduled for 4/11 in Riverside. Everything has been really smooth so far.

Quick question - do you know how long the rest of the process takes? Like for example how far have the January or February filers got?

According to VisaJourney CSC is currently processing the cases from mid August. It looks like it takes 7-8 months on average.

Quick question -- is it absolutely necessary to include affidavits in the I-751 package? Here's what we have:

  • Copy of the green card:
  • Copies of our joint federal and state tax returns for 2013, 2014, and 2015;
  • Copies of Certificate of Car Titles – joint ownership;
  • Copies of Car Insurance Policies showing both of us as joint policy holders;
  • Copies of various bank account statements showing co-ownership;
  • Copies of our health insurance cards showing a joint policy, including notices of explanation of benefits;
  • Copy of letter from life insurance company designating spouse as beneficiary;
  • Copy of Rental Agreement/Notice of Change of Terms of Tenancy showing joint occupancy;
  • Copies of holiday cards addressed to both of us;
  • Pictures posted on social media, with family and friends, from 2013-2016;
  • Copies of travel itineraries from 2013-2016.

My husband and I were going over the I-751 instructions again and the affidavit was listed in Page 6 as "should include" in the Evidence of Relationship.

You have some strong evidence here! Affidavits are encouraged but not a "must"! Good luck to you.
