6 years ago my wife was banned for a period of 5 years. She is canadian and the official reason was for not having correct paper work : section 235(b)(I) (7)(A)(i)(I)

Since the ban was up a little while ago we've had no problems coming into the US for short visits. She makes sure to bring proper paperwork and they check it and welcome her in. I think we've made maybe 5 trips into the US by plane and car and no issues.

We've been married for 3 years and are applying for a spousal visa to the US. Should we encounter any problems due to her ban if it has already been completed?

(I tried searching this topic and found many people who are currently banned, but few who have had the ban finish and are now trying to get a visa)
