Congrats!!!! February filers are on a roll!!!

The 2 I saw approved ended in xxxx43 and xxxx44

Yes you should be next. My petition took 58 days to be approved with no RFE. So please be patient (I know its hard) but you will soon get your approval. Your post actually alerted me as I saw the last two numbers of the cases and realized one of them was mine and I then I went to the app. I still have not received a text or email message. This is so awesome and I cannot wait to talk to my fiancé.

All the best to those of you that are still waiting. Hang in there guys!!

Hello All,

I've been following the forum and last week i received a notice that i'll be getting an RFE. I was a little upset as I used a lawyer to avoid that. I received the RFE letter today and its asking for the following:

- Circumstances of Meeting

- Last Personal Meeting

My lawyer had included a signed affidavit stating we met online. They want to know specifically which site we met on. Also, i gave my lawyer photos of us, the ring i purchased, the receipt of the ring, a photo of us with the ring on her finger, emails, and a whole stack of credit card statements highlighting all canada transactions.

Since i'm in the US and shes in Canada, they don't stamp our passports.

Am i missing something? Either my lawyer forgot to send those critical pieces of information or we have not provided enough.

Suggestions?

I've asked people we know to write statements and sign them stating they met her with me. I also asked my pastor to do the same.

I received the RFE letter today and its asking for the following:

- Circumstances of Meeting

- Last Personal Meeting

I believe as long as you provide those 2 pieces of evidence they're requesting, you should be set. They will not come back later saying they need something else, plus it seems you got everything else pretty much covered. Just provide as much evidence as you can regarding those 2 items and you should be approved with flying colors. Good luck, keep us posted.

So I called the military helpline again yesterday. I submitted my expedite request due to a deployment coming up

at the end of June. The first time I called to request it was 10 Mar. I received their response asking for my orders letter from my commander and copy of military ID on 21 Mar. I faxed all of the above immediately. No word as of 30 Mar. Called and asked if it was received. Nobody knew. And said if I don't hear anything in 5 business days then to call back. Called yesterday and got a tier 2 person. He submitted a request for information to my case and the response was if they have not responded by the 24th of April then call back. Meanwhile almost all cases around mine 4 Feb have been approved or RFE. Mine just case received. Kind of takes the meaning out of expedite. Lol this process kills me. I wish I could tell my customers that I'll get to it when I get to it and it can take up

to 5 months.
