Yeah you have to go through ACRO in the UK, it's £45 for standard shipping which is ten days I believe, and £85 for premium, which is two days

Okay you should be fine with the 10 days if you want to save money. Because from NOA2 to NVC and getting case number is now about 14-25 days and after that you'll book you medical so a few more days or week there too..

If it helps at all to know, mine came in less than 7 days. It was a really speedy turnaround!

Anybody from the UK got their police certificate yet? NOA2 estimated approval date is the 8th-11th April and I haven't got mine yet

I haven't got mine yet either, I was going to wait until the day I received my noa2 so that I will have something to do while I wait for a case number from NVC and wait for it to be shipped to London. As at the moment January filers seem to be waiting 14-20 days before getting their case numbers. So that will keep me occupied on waiting for the police certificate during the wait.

That's what my fiancé is doing as well. He lived in the UK for a couple of years and when I asked if he got an updated police certificate he told me it was $70! He also wants to wait for our NOA2.

I'll wait the 10 days too.... I'm not originally from the UK but I'm getting a UK police certificate because I lived there for 4 years. I was truly shocked when I found out how expensive it is! My police certificate from Luxembourg (where I live now) was free and I got it within 2 business days....

I considered going premium but £80 seems a bit steep for a 2-day delivery. I'll save myself £35 and wait the 10 days, I think.
