Hi Guys! Finally alll done! I was able to do a demand draft and now i have a cheque with me. Tho i have a concern, i put as payee "u.s department of homeland security" and just saw on the cheque that the address of the bank is in jp morgan new york, does it matter?

And lastly, my fiance used his passport as his proof as US citizen cos we dont have his birth cert atm, however, the expiry date is 2016, will it be okay?

I hope one of you are still up!!! Thanks!!

Bank drawn from does not make a difference.

Expiration date on the Passport will have no bearing on the interview but he should think about getting it renewed before it expires. Also, he will need his birth certificate so he should plan on getting a copy.

Now I am going to bed. Good Night World.

I didnt put mine in a folder, i just used a binder clip and paper clipped each docs that belongs together.

Did you have any notification if your cheque is cashed? Or if your mail has been receive?

I downloaded an app of my courier where i can track my packet :)

Yeah, theirs got approved so I'm not too worried about it. I looked around the internet a lot and saw lots of different ways of putting it together so I figured it didn't really matter much. I didn't see that people just used simple binder clips until this thread, haha.

I've already started tracking the package and it's on its way. I live just a few hours from Dallas so it should arrive tomorrow or Friday. :)

Good luck to you too! May we not lose our sanity as we wait!

Congrats on all the NOA1 and sending of packages :D

The reason the do not want binders and protecters is because when the package it delivered to them the scan everything in, so the person who receive it now has to take it out of the binder and out of the protectors ;) So more work for them, that why the write they don't want that.

It's not like you won't get approved because of that, probably just someone not so happy haha It'll be fine though.

I know that you have submitted your paperwork and so the "horse is out of the barn" so to say, but here is the tips that USCIS ask for when assembling your packets and the mailing of your documents. I submit this to help others who are "in the dark" on this subject. Good luck to the both of you.

Now get the phone app if you have already done so and begin following your case numbers from here to Naturalization. It does the work of checking for you. No need to be checking every 30 min as some have a tendency to do which only causes on due stress.

Did you include the form (The name escapes me) where you attach your phone number and email address and send it off with the I-129f? If so, they should email and text you with your NOA1, if you didn't - they'll just mail it
