Not to be a downer, but this doesn't seem to be correct by the recent January filers experience.

We've had RFE's for people both within the first 2-3 weeks, and after 6-7 weeks as well unfortunately, and there doesn't seem to be a pattern for the information causing the RFE's at different times.

For example, 6-7 weeks for a IMBRA RFE

5-6 weeks for a photograph discrepancy.

Etc. :(

You are correct, I only compiled data for one single day and the only RFE's came rather quick however just this morning I saw 4 on my list were updated to RFE. So hard to wait though when you have no idea how they pick and choose out of order without knowing why. If they were more clear with their process other than wait 5 months and call us then it might be easier to wait. In the end we will get our approval, no doubt but I like to have some sort of false sense of control lol.

Were the ones with early RFEs expedites? Or are they for VJ members who have confirmed they weren't expedited? From everything I've read it sounds like the normal procedure is to cash the check and make sure all the forms are signed, seems unlikely they would look for RFEs before they were ready to fully review the app.

It looked like obvious errors, signatures missing and the like.

Several cases with Feb 29 dates have RFE, two today. All within 300 cases before mine.

What is the possibility that there are this many expedites within a sample size of 300?

I agree with Georgia. I don't think it would. We only had two pieces of evidence of having met (two tenancy agreements) but it didn't really make it go any faster, I don't think! Of course I have no way to prove that. We were pushed back quite a few times too but I wouldn't trust this estimate too much. Hope you'll hear back soon! :)

Our petition's been pushed back again (Apr1-Arp4). Argh. Maybe we shouldn't have front-loaded it with tons of evidence. Would that be a factor, I wonder? :(

Yeah, it's just so hard to let things run their course when you're within an estimate, even if the figures are based on other timelines. Like Chris98vf said; I like to have a false sense of control over these things.

No it was the interview with the doctor itself, so the question that he has to ask and the general checkup.

Oh I see. I wasn't aware there was an official interview with the doctor after all tests/vaccines/forms are done. Is this a consular-specific thing? In any event, that's good to know.

I think that it might be specific Iceland thing because the doctor is really busy and getting an appointment is almost impossible so he prefers that you arrive to the appointment having done everything else couple of days before, then he has also all the information from the blood test and x ray at the interview.

The interview is pretty much just the forms and general check up :)
