K-1 is a one time entry so once you have entered you can not leave again. Or yeah you can leave but not get back in.

After married you file AOS (Adjustment of status - your Green card) with that you file for AP (advance parole) and EAD (work permit).

AP and EAD takes about 60-90 days from the day you file AOS. It is the AP card that allows you to travel and get back in.

And otherwise it's of course when you get the Green Card.

So you can't leave for a while after you get there.

I guess we'll have to postpone our trip haha

Still hasn't arrived for mine - I guess I'll have to give them a call and see whats going on

Before contacting them have you received any indication that the package was received by your carrier? Has your check been cashed? Normal processing is 3-7 business days. Looks like any day now you will get your NOA1.

Keep in mind that you are at the very beginning of your journey. You have the application, the interview, the POE, the SSN, the AOS, the ROC and the Naturalization upcoming. If you begin to worry now and start calling everyone, your going to drive yourself crazy.

Here, I'll make it less stressful. Get the phone app. It checks in the background and will notify you quicker then USCIS will. The nice thing is that you set it up and forget it. No calling anyone thus keeping the lines open for those who have more pressing issues and no posting messages that you haven't received a response yet. So get the app and reduce your stress. It's a long road ahead and this is a marathon and not a race.

The carrier confirmed they still has the package, so unfortunately it's not delivered.

What are the rules for traveling when your fiance is here on the K1 or during the AOS process?...we were wanting to travel overseas but don't want to mess anything up during this process.

During AOS, Submit your I-131 application for advanced parole (which allows travel outside the U.S. while the application is pending). Both forms, I-765 and I-131 are at no charge when filed with the I-485. Then you can travel but do not stay out of the country for long periods of times or you risk forfeiting your visa.

I guess till it is delivered, no NOA1 for them. I am sure they are beating down the doors to the carrier for deliver. I wish them luck.
