I am under the impression citizens from certain countries and met with a little more scrutiny. I very well could be wrong.

Thats why there are AP after the interview which is understandable. Other wise not at the 'normal' background check. Look at people waiting and people got approved in just January alone there is a total mix of countries so no.

I just found this:

You asked about country of birth etc.. Yes and no. There were "watch lists" of certain countries that meant that certain procedures had to be followed when processing petitions from these countries, but it was just a couple more things to check/verify along the approval process. It didn't slow things down dramatically. So, I wouldn't worry about that being a big factor.

Found it interesting :)

Jumping from one thing to another.

Is anyone else using google hangout and has decided how to print those for the interview?

My fiance and I use FB Messenger which is similarly annoying to Google hangouts as far as loading the history. I ended up taking a handful of screen shots from a variety of dates–seems like they wouldn't need to see your entire history. For hangout, I would use the little arrow to bring up the popout window, drag the window as large as you can, and screenshot!

I wonder if you are referring to the interview with a VSC director? I just read that too...see it here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/220499-k-1-petition-information/

And this interview with an adjudicator walks you through the process of reviewing a case step by step: http://www.visajourney.com/content/adjudicator-q-and-a

It may have been! I just remember it being on my phone (which is why I can't just grab it off my computer). Since it was late at night I can't remember much besides a few points and that I thought it was pretty interesting to read.

So I was thinking about postponing my medical for couple of weeks just to be on the more safe side so I called the receptionist at the doctor's office and she told me that the next available appointment would be at the end of May or June!!

So I just decided to keep my current appointment (Beginning of April) and hope for the best.

How is everyone else doing? Excited for the week ahead?
