My fiance works for the government and he doesn't get another holiday (no easter off!) for quite a long time. Not sure if it really counts since he's in a different spot in the government, but it should follow the base holidays?

Also I know in my mind that when someone else gets their NOA2 doesn't mean we'll get ours.. but I'm so super stoked and excited. I think I frightened people by bouncing in my chair excitedly when I saw that a February person had gotten theirs!

This is something that really needs to be said, because they don't do it in exact order and maybe our file has landed on a desk where there are harder cases and therefore it takes longer to get to our file. Maybe our person got the flu and was out for a week. We don't know.

But it was exciting to see our month come up :)

Definitely needs to be said. They did say on the website though that they actually do them in order, it just gets held up (like if they need to run extra checks, send in RFE's) so they put it aside and then start the next one until the information comes in. It was pretty interesting to read about the process and I wish I could remember the link! But I do know that (After doing a looot of paperwork for people) the little things could come up and it doesn't even mean an RFE, just a hold on the forms, so not to expect it to be in order at all.

Not all countries are equal in NOA2 apparently.

I think we are going to get an RFE for a renewed passport.

I am under the impression citizens from certain countries and met with a little more scrutiny. I very well could be wrong.

Thats why there are AP after the interview which is understandable. Other wise not at the 'normal' background check. Look at people waiting and people got approved in just January alone there is a total mix of countries so no.

Yep :) Long Friday :)

Jumping from one thing to another.

Is anyone else using google hangout and has decided how to print those for the interview?

What is google hangout?

I wonder if you are referring to the interview with a VSC director? I just read that too...see it here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/220499-k-1-petition-information/

And this interview with an adjudicator walks you through the process of reviewing a case step by step: http://www.visajourney.com/content/adjudicator-q-and-a
