Keep in mind the search on the app doesn't just show k1s...I'd say less than half of the search are I-129...I'll do a rough count when I get home

Rough count is 153 K1s within 500 case numbers before mine.

I have a general question....my fiancé says he sent me a package but realized after sending it he put the wrong address number. (He put 375 instead of 275) I've called the usps customer service line a couple times and they say it hasn't been received yet...any ideas on how to make sure the package gets to me? My street doesn't have a 375 so I'm hoping to mailguy or gal can figure it out by my name ?

Do you mean USPS (the postal service) or UPS (the parcel delivery company)? If you're indeed referring to USPS, I don't know what you meant by the package being received yet? Do you have a tracking number? In one previou dealing with USPS, a package I sent out was returned to me several weeks later for an incorrect numerical listed on the address. I guess they are not allowed to go above and beyond and make such corrections when they are familiar with the recipient correct address like UPS and FedEx does. Hope you get this issue corrected, keep calling.

Ok awesome..thanks for sharing! We will definitely submit probably more than needed just in case lol. I dont know how accurate it is but on this website it says after you mail in your required paperwork that it will take about a month to get the interview and only a few days to get visa once approved: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/sa/sa-iv-waittimeinfo.asp . Ehh hopefully it doesnt take longer this. That would be hard having to wait so long after knowing your approved. Ohh thats great news that more people are getting approved now!! Yes definitely lets keep in touch!! If you find out anything helpful please let us know as we will do the same!! Good luck to you too!!

It's USPS...I was hoping that since I've been at the same address for 4 years the mail guy would put two and two together but like you said going above and beyond doesn't happen often haha. Fingers crossed!

If you guys are interested this is how my notes are looking now concerning the pending NOA2's on this website:

Date VJ December January February March

1-Mar 13-Jan 67 164 166 x

8-Mar 18-Jan 60 137 195 31

15-Mar 25-Jan 52 128 218 66

The estimation for this week was that the NOA1's with the date 23. Jan should be in processing BUT the date that VJ shows is 25. Jan so there is some nice progress.

So as you can see we seem to be moving a bit faster but the February number has gone up rather than down. I think in the next two weeks the February number will go down.

So according to my oh so scientific estimations next week (22. March) the NOA1 with the date of 1st of February should be processed.

And now I should go back to studying!

What is the next status update after case received?

I think most commonly is "approved" or an RFE notice but I've seen "Name Updated" and "DOB Updated." In the January forum someone got the Name Updated status and within a couple days it changed to Approved.

I noticed the February number going up too! I think maybe it's people that have already filed and are just now filling out their timelines or just found VJ.

Well, the thing is that it is a one touch situation, they look over it and it is either RFE/YES/NO so there isn't much of a review period. We are just waiting for someone to get to our file.

I noticed the February number going up too! I think maybe it's people that have already filed and are just now filling out their timelines or just found VJ.

Yea, something like that. I feel like there are more in February than there were in January (but I could be wrong).

Am I the only one that thinks it sounds like a dream job?

I would just love to be a "pencil pusher" looking through files after files, maybe having a stamp. Sounds AWESOME!

Until someone comes in on a K-1 and the two of them go shooting people up. Then everyone is looking through their computers to find out "did I okay that one?" That's the nightmare part.

Hey guys, just mailed in my petition for my fiancée (Canada) today after pouring over this website for the past two weeks. It has been a God send!! I couldn't have been luckier to have stumbled upon this site because I almost paid a lawyer, haha. Anyway, good luck to all and wish us the same! I'll see you on the beach!

Hello Chris & Olivia,

I am in Canada and my fiance is in Maine, met back in 2011 and our relationship grew into a more serious one and we decided to apply. I have been looking over this site and found two addresses in Texas. One to Dallas and one to Lewisville.....which one should we send our application to? Am I right to think that if my fiance sends our application by courier it should be mailed to Lewisville? and if sent by U.S. post it should go to Dallas?

Can you help?

Also I did my intent letter in handwriting.....black ink, do you know if this is ok? I didn't see anywhere that it should be typed?

Any help is appreciated.

Good luck to you....

so looking forward to finally sharing my life with my fiance as I'm sure you are too, I don't want to make any errors...

Thanks

Maine man/ Ont girl
