Hello! I have a random question.. while we all wait for our noa2, i am starting to prepare the things we need for the next steps. I saw the tax forms, pay slips, bank statements etc. But i also saw that the usc fiance also needs to pass again a letter of intent to marry with a closer date to the interview? And must be with original signature right? ???

In line with J178's question, I checked the list of the other documents needed for the interview. Is it okay to start getting/gathering documents (might be country specific to philippines) such as NBI clearance, CENOMAR, and NSO birth certificate as early as now or is it advisable to wait until we get NOA2? :)

Oh, and congratulations to the new filers and to the ones who recently got their NOA1! :)

I think with regards with nbi clearance, it is better to get when you have the date of your interview or when you got your noa2 cos i believe NBI clearance has the validity of 3 months only :)

Hi, everyone! I've been following this website for a few weeks now and it's literally been GOD SENT! I consulted with an immigration attorney initially and decided to file the K1 application on my own. I'm glad I did with all the help from this site. Our application was delivered to Lewisville, TX via FedEx on February 23rd. Waiting for our NOA1. :dancing:

You have a hard embassy so you might want to read in the Nigerian forum too so you can see what other people from the same embassy is doing or have done :)

Thanks! Just to make it clear, I can start filing for my cenomar and nso birth certificate as early as now? I'll be waiting it out for the NBI :)

Congrats to you. You've taken the first step by getting your documents sent off. May I point out that this forum is for those applying for the K-1 visa and I see you are chasing the IR/CR. You can stay and hang out with us but many here will not be able to help you as they are all chasing the K-1 visa. There should be a February filers for the IR/CR visa.
