We finally got great news in our case out of Guayaquil's consulate. They called my fiancée today and told her to bring the passport in so they could issue the visa! She was first told to send it DHL but the lady called a few minutes later and said just drop it off Monday morning and a 2nd interview isn't necessary. They said the process should take NLT 10 business day. So after 2 1/2 weeks in Administrative Process our K-1 visa was finally approved! We are ecstatic, extremely happy! God is good!!! ?

At last, finally – after a wait of more than 4 months of receiving a text and email of RFE we have received our RFE letter yesterday morning. My fiancé had to visit USCIS office several times and then filing an e request each time and then a huge pain of waiting for the document, But anyways, we are happy that we have the document which can tell us what all further evidence are required to process the case.

Now here I am seeking some expert advice as in what all documents and proofs I should attach for all required:

1. Form G-325A and Photographs

- This was our mistake that we never attached the forms for both me and my fiancé so my fiancé would be adding the form G-325A for both of us (notary attested) along with passport size photographs.

2. OTHER REQUIRED EVIDECE: Beneficiary’s intent to marry you

- I am writing a letter to USCIS stating below, please let me know if I should add / subtract anything or require any more docs to attach.

“I, (my name), do hereby state that I am legally able and willing to marry (fiancé name), and intend to do so within 90 days of my arrival into the US using the K-1 visa.

3. Circumstances of meeting :

- It would be an arrange marriage for us. I met my fiancé’s father at a car store where he started the conversation about her daughter and then further he met my family and asked my fiancé to visit India to see if we like each other.

- I am writing this in a formal letter with all details and dates and also attaching her passport screenshots while her visit in Feb, my bills for clothes I bought for her, invoice of ring which I bought for her and few pictures. Anything else in specific required here?

4. Requirement that beneficiary and applicant have met in person:

- Submitting

a) My fiancé’s air ticket and passport

b) Our first email conversation

c) Bank statements

d) Telephone Bills

e) Hangout chats

f) Whatsapp chats

Please suggest us in case, we are missing on something.

Make sure to write your full names on the back of the passport pictures.

The G-325A does not need to be notarized.

As for how you are meeting I would left out the arrange married and just tell you met her father and bla bla.

That you have met don't you have any pictures, Especially if you have pictures with family members would be good for that embassy.

The letter intent to marry is fine. Remember date and signature on

Thank you Georgia, we are writing full names on our passport pics.

I have pics during the time we met along with our family and parents.. we sent them before as well.. sending them again. Problem is these pics have missing timestamps, you think - this could be a problem?

Thanks for reminding date and signature on letter of intent.

No not really because it will support as proof that she came to India along with her passport stamp and her boarding pass that you also have.

Please help!!!

My fiancé is at the hospital ready to get the medical for his son. They are asking for an appointment letter for his son. When I did the DS 160, I set it up for my fiancé assuming his son was included since he was on everything else. Our appointment, in Jamaica, is next Wednesday. I don't know what to do!!

Nope K-2 need it's own DS-160, medical + fee for that and fee for the interview.

Fill out the DS-160 for the son, get the medical for him and pay the interview fee so the embassy will know he also needs a visa
