I have known and been with my fiancé for over a year. It says within 2years. So what is this mean for me. We can still file I'm hoping? What is everything you put showing that you been with your fiancé in with the forms? Thank you. I have my I-129f, intent letter, and g-325 all finished. Just waiting for my fiancés intent letter and g-325 to be mailed to me to put in my envelope. So I need to photo copy my passport and birth certificate?

Within 2 years means that you have to have seen each other in person in the past 2 years. One year is perfectly fine!

I put my passport stamps (from going to the US), airplane tickets, pictures of us together (from over the past 2 years).

You need a copy of the back and front of the birth certificate OR all the pages of your passport :)

Good luck :)

A little tip for all of you people who (like me!) don't have the original airplane tickets - you can supply your I-94 form (https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/consent.html) which shows you all of your arrivals and departures in the US, including what airports you've flown into.

Is anyone else frequently checking on the status of their application here -> https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

I don't even know what would change, but now it just says when they received my application.

I would stop that if I was you, it won't change for a while yet.

Honestly, I said earlier in this thread and I'll say it again - it'll happen when it happens. We're all eager, but checking it constantly and worrying about what MAY go wrong, and what happens if this happens or that happens, it'll only make the process more gruelling :)

I am completely the opposite, I need the approximate date and I like checking. I am all about statistic.

I like checking because I find it interesting to see what changes and if things change, I don't feel bad that nothing changes, the same as I don't feel bad when I noticed that my timeline here was all of a sudden two days slower. It doesn't change anything for me. If I get to move in May or in December it doesn't really matter. I just like the process of everything. :)

That's a great mindset to have! Too many people get hung up and want everything to happen like yesterday, so it's nice to see someone else who's taking everything in their stride!

I know that I cannot change anything. I could call them 500 times a day and it wouldn't change a thing. So why not just sit back and enjoy the ride. Haha :) It isn't often (well I hope) that you go through the K1 visa process so it is an experience.

We'll see if my mindset changes if by next February if I still haven't gotten my visa by then :P

Exactly right, it's one of the biggest things we'll ever do, going through this process in order to move to the other end of the world for alot of people, so just enjoy it!

I completely agree! I like to check daily as well but I don't get upset if nothing has changed.

Do you have your NOA1 by now?

Is anyone's application being sent to the Texas service center?
